OOD & Development
OMT - AIX - RS/6000 - TCP/IP - SNA

For a prominent credit-reporting agency, Spry consultants developed an Advanced Communication Engine (ACE) that allows clients to access Mainframe credit reports using TCP/IP. ACE was developed using a component based object-oriented iterative development approach. Rumbaugh's OMT techniques using Rational Rose case tool were used to evolve the object and functional models.

Request Tracking System - C++ - SDK

For a major financial services corporation, a request tracking system was developed by Spry consultants using object oriented techniques and C++ in Windows environment. Extensive communication software was developed using SNA protocol.

Client/Server- Windows NT

For a major pharmaceutical company, Spry consultants designed and developed a reporting tool. The system was developed using Microsoft Visual C++, Oracle, and SQR.

Visual C++ - Windows API -SDK

For a major brokerage firm, Spry consultants are involved in developing an EDI system that will allow clients to dial in and collect credit information. A formal approach based on Booch's OO-method is being used to design the system using the object paradigm.

COOL Products from Sterling Software

For a major bank, Spry consultants were involved in developing a mortgage custody system. Spry consultants have executed numerous object oriented design and development projects, encompassing a multitude of methodologies and innovative approaches.

Spry consultants are highly trained and experienced in analyzing and evolving models based Booch, Rumbaugh, Jacobson, Coad-Yourdon, Schlaer-Mellor, Unified Modeling Language (UML) and other industry standard approaches to object design and modeling. The UML is the industry-standard language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems. It simplifies the complex process of software design, making a "blueprint" for construction.

Creating the correct architecture remains a critical part of the development process. Components can improve that process in several ways, but for significant software systems, the quality of the software architecture is much more likely to influence a project's success than the set of available components. Our Consultants have the knowledge and experience in designing and have successfully implemented systems using this architecture.

Spry has the ability to provide a comprehensive framework for the modeling of business requirements, the design and development of software systems which is customer focused.

The resident object-oriented expertise allows Spry to provide valuable services to customers, integrating the latest technology with their environment in a seamless and efficient manner.
